The Human Resources Administrator will play an integral role in supporting the overall HR function, contributing to the development and Administrator of HR policies and programs. This position requires a well-rounded HR professional with a strong foundation in various HR disciplines, including onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.

The HR Administrator will be responsible for:

Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Onboard new starters using ADP Workforce Now, enabling dynamic and flexible new hire processing of the in-store teams.
  • Respond to questions and issues involved in the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience for new hires.
  • Optimize the onboarding process to improve the new hire experience and reduce administrative work.
  • Develop SOPS to map out the onboarding process reducing the silos centered around individuals.
  • Act as point of contact for employee offboarding, assisting hiring managers with processing their employee exits.

HR & Payroll Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain admin filing system - contract and position descriptions to personnel files.
  • Act as administrator for HR systems, including Breezy applicant tracking system and ADP onboarding platform.
  • Process HR-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, changes in employment status, and benefits administration.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process from start to finish.

Customer Service

  • Demonstrates understanding of customer experience and ability to build productive relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Work as liaison between the support center and the field team as it pertains to communicating and executing HR initiatives.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (not required, but recommended).
  • Proven experience as an HR coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility, able to adjust to changes and address problems effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in HRIS (ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
